Mangaluru: Katua Rape in J&K; SSF protests seeking justice to victim’s family

Mangaluru, 17 Apr 2018: SSF, Kalminja unit, near here, staged protest against barbarous rape of eight-year-old Asifa, in Katua district of J&K, demanding severe punishments to the accused to justice to victim’s family.

 

Addressing the protesters, the local Khatib Ustad Abdul Latif Saadi Al-Afjali said that despite such heinous crimes, the higher authorities are unconcerned of the incident that would motivate criminals to do larger damage. He urged the law enforcement agencies to take legal actions on accused without succumbing to any pressure from any quarter and award compensation to the victim’s family.

Badriya Juma masjid – Kalminja president Mohammed F, veteran leader Abubakker Haji, S Y S general secretary Mohammed, SSF sector secretary Munir Kalminja, SSF leaders Khader Saadi Batyadka and local elders were present.

 

The secretary Abdul Rashid welcomed the gathering. Harshad Kalminja compered the programme.  Sattar Madaka proposed vote of thanks
