Bellevision Bahrain celebrates Easter; New Committee formed

Manama/Bahrain, 24 Apr 2017: Yes, these words have proved to be true with Bellevision Bahrain. A dream that aroused not in sleep but in heart and mind of few Belleans in Bahrain to form Bellevision was fulfilled 6 years ago and has now successfully stepped into the 7th year. Under the guidance and leadership of dedicated preceding Committees, our affectionate members and ever supportive well wishers we have achieved this accomplishment.

 

The induction of the new Committee for the year 2017 and Easter celebration was held at Baen Sang Thai auditorium, here, on Thursday, April 20. The evening began with Sharmila Sequiera’s warm welcome and prayer dance lead by Nikitha, Erina and Jennifer. Kishore D’souza inducted the new committee with their wonderful introduction and wished all the very best for the year.

 

 

Fr Freddy D’Souza, parish priest of Sacred Heart Church graced the occasion as chief guest. He wished the new Committee a successful year. In his message he gave a spiritual inspiration of No 7, as in Christianity No 7 is considered to be a Holy number and it gives a call for completeness and perfection.

 

The yummy home made cake by Naveen Mendonca was cut during this occasion to share the happiness. The preceding committee members were felicitated by Fr Freddy for their outstanding accomplishments.

 

In his presidential address, Joel D’Sa assured to continue working hand in hand along with the Ex-com to achieve another milestone. He thanked all the well wishers and supporters who have been helping Bellevision Bahrain to reach its heights. Secretary Rashmi Fernandes proposed the vote of thanks. 

 

The entertainment charge was taken by Adline Monis who really kept the gathering involved throughout the event with her magical touch and was duly assisted by Sharmila. Members children Ries, Delisha, Sophie, Shannel, Ashel performed dances and two skits were staged by Naveen, Jolveen, Nirmala, Arun Fernandes, Pramila and Ivan D’Souza. Thomas, Preetham, Rony, Delisha-Nikitha rendered their beautiful voices to entertain the gathering. The Easter goodies were distributed to all children.  Raffle draws were conducted in intervals and fabulous 12 prizes were given out.

 

Outgoing student Ashton Raymond, son of Arun and Alfreeda Castelino was felicitated and bid farewell as he is leaving Bahrain and going to Mangaluru to pursue higher studies.

 

Fr Freddy recited the grace before meal and the dinner was served while DJ Francis’s music kept the young very busy on the dance floor.
