Kuwait: ICS to present ’Maahi Ve with Richa Sharma’ on Apr 13

Kuwait, 12 Apr 2017: Indian Cultural Society, a pioneer of quality entertainment and producer of regular hit shows since the past 11 years, will present ‘Maahi Ve’ with top most female playback singer Richa Sharma and her band, at AIS Auditorium, Maidan Hawally, near police station, Kuwait.

 

Richa Sharma is known for her work on My Name is Khan, Kal Ho Naa Ho, Om Shanti Om, Baghban, Kaante and many more.

 

 

Film *Salma Pe Dil Aa Gaya* of Sawan Kumar in 1996 was her first break followed by number of movies till “Taal” the big hit came in her way when great music director A R Rahman gave her offer to sing a couple of songs. Since then it was no looking back for Richa Sharma and she got the chance to sing in several movies which include Zubeidaa, Saathiya, Hera Pheri, Khakee, Tarkeeb, Bombay Talkies, Ghanchakkar, Shanghai, and Singham, Mohabbataan Sachiyaan, Patiala House, Hello Darling, Mr. Singh Mrs. Mehta Sadiyaan, My Name is Khan, Jugaad, Zindagi Tere Naam, Chamku, Jannat, Aaja Nachle , Dhan Dhana Dhan Goal, Saawariya, Water, Baabul, Umrao Jaan, Tom Dick and Harry, Pyare Mohan, Kaal, Sheesha, Popcorn Khao Mast Ho Jao, Police Force, Run, Rudraksh, Khakee, Kal Ho Naa Ho, Baghban, Kuch Naa Kaho, Hungama, Kaante, Saathiya, Lajja, Zubeidaa, Hera Pheri, Piya, Mangal Pandey - The Rising, Popcorn Khao Mast Ho Jao etc.

She hosted Antakshari with Anu Kapoor on Zee TV. Richa appeared on the singing reality show as a jury member ‘Jo Jeeta Wohi Super Star,’ ‘Indian Idol,’ ‘Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Singing Superstar.’  She sang the title song for the STAR Plus shows Sajda Tere Pyaar Mein. She sang the title song for the Sahara One show Doli Saja Ke. Recently she appeared on ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ as guest. 

 

Richa Sharma sang Bollywood’s longest track, the bidaai song, in film Baabul (2006). Young singer Prithvi Gandharva and Ali Yasir will rock the evening along with Richa.
