Mangaluru: Milagres parish celebrates Christmas with sick children at Wenlock Hospital

Mangaluru, 24 Dec 2016: Milagres parish celebrated Christmas at children’s block of district Wenlock Hospital, here on Friday, December 23.

 

 

‘Christmas resembles peace Joy and happiness. This is not a festival this is a celebration of love and all of us have rights to share this love with others. Santa is repressing poor and needy people. Today, as we celebrate Christmas here at children’s block of Wenlock Hospital by Milagres parish community will pray for all the children to recover from their illness,’ said Professor Maria Swami in her key note address.

 

During the celebration Milagres choir sang Christmas carols and conducted games for the children Nice crib and Santa also present in the event. After the celebration, cakes and fruit juice distributed to all children.

 

Milagres parish council vice president Ivan D’Souza thanked all.
