Udupi: Ashrayadata Auto Union distributes financial help to accident victims families

Udupi, 20 Nov 2016: Ashrayadata Auto Union® convened second annual general body meeting and convention at the chairmanship of Union founder president K Ramesh Shetty at Narayana Guru auditorium, Bannanje, here on Saturday, November 19.

 

The auto rickshaw driver held a rally of autos from Jodukatte till the venue on Saturday morning.

 

 

The scholarship were distributed to over 100 children of auto rickshaw drivers and owners, also financial assistance was offered to 16 families of auto drivers who suffered injuries owing to road mishaps.

 

The legal advisor Sabina Shetty, honorary advisor Chandrashekar Adiga, Jayan Malpe, Tulu movie director Prajwal, Chantaru gram panchayat former president S Narayan Udayakumar Tallur, labor department staff Jeevan Kumar, Sacchidanand of health department also addressed the gathering.

 

The Union – Brahmavar zonal president Akbar Pasha, Kundapura zonal president Raju Shetty, Union treasurer Sadiq Mission Compound, organizing secretary Shivanand Moodabettu, Gopal Shetty Kappettu and others were present.

 

Ramesh Shetty congratulated the new office bearers of the Union for the term of 2016 – 17.

 

The general secretary Keshav Serigar presented the annual report. Shankar Das welcomed the gathering and compered the programme.
