Udupi resident missing since May found dead

Udupi, 12 Sep 2016: In an incident reported, a man who had gone missing in May was found dead at Jathabettu on Sunday.

 

 

John D’Silva (72), resident of Bhadragiri had gone to pay the phone bill on May 26 and did not return home. His wife filed a complaint but though a search was launched, John was not found.

 

However, on Sunday, the police received a call stating that a skeleton was found in the forest area at Jathabettu. On checking, the police concluded that it belonged to John based on the clothes he had worn.

 

It is said that he might have either forgotten his way home or might have collapsed on the way.
