Bellevision Bahrain forms new Committee, celebrates Easter with members & families

Bahrain, 21 April 2016: Bellevision Bahrain organized the induction programme of its newly-formed Committee of 2016 and Easter celebration at Papillion banquet hall, here on Thursday April 14. Bellevision Bahrain has stepped into its 6th glorious year after successfully completing 5 fruitful years and it has proved to be such a rewarding experience for all its members since its inception.
The registration desk was managed by Ancilla Martis and Pramila D’Souza.
Ivan D’Souza and Princy D’Souza compered the event and welcomed all members, guests and well-wishers. The prayer song was sung by Ronald and Nirmala Fernandes, Preetham and Marita Aranha, Rashmi Fernandes and Preethi Pinto.
Bellevision Bahrain founder president Joel D’Sa inducted the new Committee with their introduction and conveyed best wishes. The homemade cake baked by Naveen Mendonca was cut during this occasion to share the happiness.
Bellevision Bahrain – the first lady president Alfreeda Castelino in her presidential address, expressed her joy and happiness over the steady progress of Bellevision Bahrain in the past 5 years. She thanked all the sponsors and well-wishers for their continued support in helping Bellevision Bahrain to reach greater heights. She urged members to actively participate in all activities that are planned for the year. Bellevision Bahrain is fortunate to have Alfreeda Casteliono as the President, who no doubt will lead Bellevision Bahrain to greater heights.
Bellevision Bahrain secretary Rashmi Fernandes proposed the vote of thanks and offered gratitude to all who helped to make the programme a huge success.
As dance is an expression of emotions, the little children displayed a dazzling dance performance gracefully that the whole crowd was cheering for them. The participants were Evan Sequeira, Ries D’Souza, Reeve D’Souza, Rochelle Mendonca, Joswin D’Souza, Annora Fernandes, Riva Pinto and Iral D’Souza. Preetham Aranha and Pramila Martis choreographed the dance.
The group of young, dynamic and talented girls of Bellevision Bahrain set the stage ablaze with their fusion dance. The participants were Ashel Castelino, Shanelle Mendonca, Rachel D’Souza, Nikitha Fernandes, Steesha D’Sa, Devina D’Souza, Erina Fernandes, Delisha Fernandes and Jennifer D’Souza. The co-ordination for the dance was done by Alfreeda Castelino and choreographed by Ashel Castelino.
The melodious songs were sung by Preetham Aranha, Nikitha Fernandes, Ivan Sequeira, Wilson D’Souza and Ronald Fernandes.
The hilarious skit was presented by Preetham Aranha and Arun Fernandes.
The visiting clergy Fr Paul Rego, currently serving in Holy Cross Church, Pamboor in Udupi diocese felicitated the exiting Committee.
Ivan and Princy conducted spot games for children and adults. All the winners were given fabulous prizes. The Easter hamper was distributed to all children which was sponsored by Hilda D’Sa.
As the May month observes the celebration of Nurses Day, the nurses and doctors among the members were honored on the same occasion.
The Konkani writer and active member of Bellevision Bahrain - Naveen Mendonca recited a poem written by himself about Nurses and Doctors, describing their selfless service to the community.
Fr Paul Rego recited the grace before meal and the dinner was served by Papillion Restaurant. DJ Francis’s fantastic music kept the teens very busy on the dance floor till late night.

Alfreeda Castelino (president), Sharmila Sequiera (vice president), Rashmi Fernandes (general secretary), Deepika Fernandes (deputy general secretary), Vincent Martis (treasurer), Preetham Aranaha (entertainment secretary), Judith Mendonca (sports secretary), Ronald Alva (membership co-ordinator) and Sylvia D’Souza (web co-ordinator).
The event marked a great start to an exciting year for the new Committee and the members.
