Mumbai: BSKBA organizes 5-day winter camp for children at Nerul, Navi Mumbai

Mumbai, 03 Jan 2016: Bombay South Kanara Brahmin Association (BSKBA), youth wing in association with women wing organized 5-day winter camp for children at Ashraya old age home, Nerul, Navi Mumbai, here from December 25 to December 29.
Vedamurti Ramana Acharya and BSKBA president Dr Suresh S Rao inaugurated the 5-day winter camp at Nerul, Navi Mumbai, here on December 25 morning. Thirty-six children attended the camp.
BSKBA secretary P C N Rao donned the role of Santaclaus and celebrated the Christmas by cutting the cake on the occasion.
The resource persons Vedamurti Ramana S Rao, Bhagyalaxmi Chadaga, Anjana Rao, Prema Rao, Sahana Bharadwaj, Saroja Satyanarayan, Aruna Soutekal, Aruna Achar, Shalini Udupa, Balachandra Rao, Sahana Poti and Prashant Herle taught art of drawing rangoli, Kannada study, rolling wicks, theater, singing bhajans etc.
Dr Suresh presided the valedictory function here on December 29.
BSKBA vice president Vaman Holla, Ashraya old age home chief functionary Chandravati Rao, secretary Prashant Herle, youth wing president Deepak Shivattaya, Vinodini Rao, Gopalakrishna Public Trust trustee Prema Rao and others were present at the dais.
Vinodini Rao compered the programme. Deepak Shivattaya proposed vote of thanks.
The camp concluded with fellowship meal on the occasion.
