Karkal: Belman zonal level Pry School Sports Meet inaugurated

Karkal, 07 Oct 2015: Hard work leads to success. The sports benefit both physically and mentally. The sports achievement enable one get better job, while the relentless efforts and hard work leads to success in life, said ZP member Kedinje Supreet Shetty.

 

Shetty was speaking after inaugurating Belman zonal level primary school sports meet hosted by Mundkoor Government Higher Primary School, in association with public instructions department and Karkal - office of the block education officer at Vidyavardhaka PU College grounds, Mundkoor, near here on Tuesday October 6.

 

Mundkoor gram panchayat president Shubha P Shetty presided the programme.

 

 

Vidyavardhaka PU College correspondent Dr P Balakrishna Alva hoisted the sports flag, while Mundkoor primary school centenary celebration Committee president Ashok Shetty lighted the sports torch.

 

The state Top Teach Award recipient teacher V K Rao Nandalike and Kabaddi coach Sunil were felicitated on the same occasion.

 

The state physical teachers Association president and Sooda Governemnt High School head master Ritesh Shetty Sooda, Vidyavardhak PU College principal Sudarshan Y S, Jarigekatte Koragajja temple chief trustee Divakar Poojary, taluk Government primary school teachers Association vice president Satish Shetty, physical education superintendent Babu Poojary, Mundkoor CRO Chandrakant D’Sa, Vidyavardhaka High School head teacher Savita, school betterment Committee president Bhaskar Poojary Kallimar, physical education teacher Mamata Shetty were present.

 

The school head teacher Sharada welcomed the gathering. Hilda Sequeira proposed vote of thanks. The high school teacher Prabhakar Shetty compered the programme.

 

Nearly 400 students from 38 schools participated in the sports meet.
