Kasargod: Vedic rites & Yakshagana mark 13th anniversary of Nityanand Yogashram, Kondevoor

Kasargod, 04 Sep 2015: The Vedic rites and cultural programmes were held at Nityanand Yogashram, Kondevoor, near here on August 29, to commemorate the thirteenth anniversary of establishing Yogashram.
The Vedic rites were held at the leadership of celebrant Harinarayan Mayya on August 29 morning, followed by religious discourse of Swami Yoganand Saraswati.
Swami Yoganand in his message to the devotees said, ‘We got to be enlightened to do worthy deeds in life that will assure peace of mind. Let us create a healthy society by devotion and patriotism,’ said Swami Yoganand.
Sridaran Nambudiri, Ravindra Shetty Ulidottu, Sasidaran, K T Suvarna, Chittaranjan Bolar, Kiran Jogi, K Narayan Bengaluru, Kumble Sundar Rao were the dignitaries appealed to devotees to contribute for their might in developing infrastructure facilities at the Ashram.
Swami Yoganand felicitated Mumbai entrepreneur Sasidaran, Ravindra Shetty Ulidottu for their involvement in Vedic celebrations by means of publicity and pooling resources.
Monappa Bhandary in his presidential address appealed to the devotees to contribute their mite for developing facilities at Yogashram.
Sampreeta Mayya rendered the prayers. Mohandas Kondevoor welcomed the programme. Harish Mada compered the programme and proposed vote of thanks.
Tenkutittu-style of Yakshagana play, Paduka Pradana, based on mythological episode was presented by the well known artistes on August 29 afternoon.
