Bahrain: Bellevision celebrates annual day with family & well wishers

Bahrain, 01 Mar 2015: Bellevision Bahrain celebrated Annual day with grandeur on Thursday, 26th Feb’2015 at the BaenSang Thai Auditorium. The program was graced by the presence of Chief Guest Rev.Fr. Freddy D’souza, Parish Priest of Sacred Heart Church Bahrain. Supporters and well-wishers of Bellevision Bahrain were also present at the event. The program started with a prayer dance by Chrishelle Sophie D’souza and Shannel Mendonca.

 

A brief stage program was conducted with cake cutting. Parish Priest Fr. Freddy D’souza in his address applauded Bellevision Bahrain community’s efforts and wished them best for their future endeavors. President Joel Paul D’sa in his presidential speech praised Bellevision Bahrain’s success for the past year and appreciated the contribution of the Committee and all the members. He also put emphasis on the motto “Strive for Togetherness”. Detailed Annual report was read by Secretary Sylvia D’souza and Sports Secretary Ivan D’souza gave vote of thanks.

 

The achievers awards were presented to Bellevision Bahrain’s teens Hazel Jane D’sa, Jason John D’sa and Jolveen Mendonca. They were felicitated by the ever supporters of BV Bahrain Simon & Precilla Machado. The achievers were given an opportunity to express and share their feelings with the audience. Precilla Machado expressed her happiness and advised them to carry out themselves gracefully and continue to do what they have been doing so well for the past many years and wished them the very best for their future and success in their further studies and ambitions.

 

    

     

 

The Annual Day program consisted of many dances, songs and skits from members. Special highlighted attraction of the evening was “The Family Fashion Show” for the members, which was a great hit. 16 families participated in the fashion show. The Judges Joe Andrade, Walter Braganza and Laveena Martis selected three winners who were presented with gift hampers.

1st Runner up: Arun Castelino & Family
2nd Runner up: Joel D’sa & Family

 

The dances were presented by BV Bahrain’s tiny tots, teens and Adults, and a wonderful comedy skit was put forth by members. The Animated dance by the adults was the special eye-catching episode of the evening, which mesmerized the audience.

 

A grand raffle draw was conducted by giving away 12 attractive prizes. The program was concluded with a delicious dinner buffet.

 

The entire event was amicably co-ordinated and managed by Master of ceremonies - John D’souza, Sharmila Sequiera and Adline D’silva. The whole year’s programs (2014-2015) undertaken by BV Bahrain were displayed on the projector during this event, which was prepared by Godwin Castelino. Wonderful DJ was played by Francis Lobo and the precious moments were photographed by Ronald Fernandes and Brinda Asif.
