Udupi: CCTV & Uniforms donated to Edmer School

Udupi, 13 Jan 2015: The alumnus of Mahabaleshwar Hindu Aided Higher Primary School, Edmer– Raymond Kishore Mallibettu near here donated Rs 25,000 towards installing CCTV to the school. The state administration has made it mandatory to install CCTV in all aided schools across the state, to curb physical abuse and to protect the students from such incidents.
The school uniforms donated in memory of Edmer Badagumane the late Bommayya Shetty and Bhavani Shedthy was distributed to all the students.
Mumbai hotelier Shubakar Shetty who has been donated monthly salary of a honorary teacher was present.
The ties and belts were distributed to all the students donated by Palli Govind Jogi.
Udupi TP former president Devdas Hebbar presided the simple function held at the school hall.
Moodubelle gram panchayat president Rajendra Shetty, Nisarga Yuvaka Mandala vice president Umesh, Edmer School correspondent Sitaram Shetty, senior teacher Bhaskar Shetty was present.
N Vivekanand Shetty lauded the contributions of philanthropists in sustaining aided schools.
The honorary teacher Asha Nayak, Pavitra, Violet and Poornima assisted in the programme.
