Udupi: Brain Quest 2010 will be held today by E – Skool

Udupi, 20 November 2010: 7th annual Udupi District Science and Technology Fair / Competition will be held today 20 November 2010 at Shesh Shayana Hall, Udupi. This fair is being organized by E – School Udupi.

 

Following competitions will be held:

Science Quest – Science Models developed by Udupi District High School Students.
I Quest – Puzzles and Strategy games.
Perfume Quest – Perfumes created by students.
Research Quest – Conducting experiments to exibit properties of gases.

 

Itinerary of the program will be as follows:

November 20, 10.00am Inauguration.
10.30 - 01.00 pm, Judges visit Science Quest, Perfume Quest and Research Quest.
I – Quest competitors play virtual tennis, solve puzzles.
01.00 pm Lunch break.
01.00 pm - 04.00 pm Public visit.
04.00 pm – 05.00 pm, Awards ceremony.

 

 

Brainquest 2010 Highlights:

Introduction to LASERS through “Aliens Show”. Experience Space!! This will be the “Space Room” in proposed Museum “CurioCity”.

Praxinoscope to teach concept of animation.

Model of Seismograph to measure earthquake.

More than 200 science and engineering – related displays, and 40+ science models from Udupi District high school students.
