Mumbai: Tulu play, Ellya Vishaya Malla Malpodchi, staged at Mira Road parish

Mumbai, 17 Nov 2014: Tulu drama, ‘Ellya Vishaya Malla Malpodchi,’ in association with St Joseph’s Konkani Welfare Association was staged on the ground of St Joseph’s parish, Mira Road here on Sunday November 16.
St. Joseph’s Konkani Welfare Association brought up this drama and has a main lead for this programme.
Mira Road parish priest Fr Nelson Pinto, Fr Rajesh D’Souza of Carmel Seva Sadan, Huvina Adagali Bellary, Gilbert Baptist-chairman of Malaika Group, Mrs. Marceline Baptist-managing director of Malaika Co-op Credit Society, Maxim Mathais - CEO of Little King Group of Hotels, Norbert Noronha -proprietor of Noronha Estate Agency, Konkani theater veteran artiste Francis Fernandes Cascia, Suresh Shetty Gandharva, Manoj Shetty, Praful Hegde, Uday Kotian, Panoor Shanthija Janardhan Bhat, Kishore D Shetty were present along with arishioners of St Joseph’s Church and other Tulu-speaking people were present.
G K Kenchana Kere was the host for the stage programme.
The children of members of St Joseph’s Konkani Welfare Association who won third place in Mumbai diocese at Youth Fiesta 2014 organized by Maharashtra Konkani Association at Jeri Meri were also felicitated on the same occasion.
Lakumi – Tulu theater troupe that presented this drama felicitated St Joseph Konkani Welfare Association president John Crasta, secretary Arun Noronha and treasurer Lawrence Mathias for their constant support.
The Drama was great and praised by all the people. It gave good tickling effect as the jokes were marvelous which will be remembered.
