Udupi, 08 Nov 2014: India is the cradle of civilization, while all its holy scriptures conveyed universal brotherhood and humanity. Meanwhile, if one lives within the framework of religion, he/she will have mental bliss and total well being. One gets the joys of life when human relations are blended with culture, said veteran intellectual Ibrahim Saheb of Hangarakatte, Sastan, near here.
Ibrahim Saheb was speaking during Rotary friendly meet that was organized by Rotary Club International (RCI) – Shirva, at Durgaparameshwari temple auditorium, Bantakal, near here on Wednesday November 5.
The city-based Hanuman Transport managing director Pangala Rabindra Nayak, veteran astrologer Valerian Saldanha Udupi, Durgaparameshwari temple priest Vedamurti K Vedavyasaraya Bhat, managing trustee Gurnebettu Ganapati Nayak, Udupi district working journalists Association president Jayakar Suvarna Udupi, were the chief guests conveyed the message of universal brotherhood and humanity.
B Pundalika and Usha Marate couple, Prakash and Dr Geetanjali Bhat couple were felicitated on completing twenty-five-years of married life.
