Kuwait: UMK to present Konkani comedy drama for charity

Kuwait, Sep 26, 2014: United Mangaloreans Kuwait (UMK) is all geared up to host the fifth Fun Filled Evening – 2014 at American International School maidan, Hawalli, here on Friday October 3 at 4.00pm.
The objective of the group is to help the underprivileged back home in Mangalore.
In the past 4 years, UMK has contributed around Rs 44 lac to Shena Sadan - AIDS Rehabilitation Center - Mangalore, Navachetana Special School – Venoor in Karkal taluk, White Doves - Mangalore and Little Sisters of Poor - Mangalore.
It was possible only due to the overwhelming support from the sponsors and well-wishers who have contributed generously.
This year, UMK will present a Konkani comedy drama, Sagle Dinvchen Thane…!, by playwright Pradeep Barboza - Paladka and directed by Ronald D’Souza Mulky along with a variety of lively melodious songs and foot-tapping dances, in aid of Manasa Rehabilitation and Training Center, Pamboor in Udupi district and De Mercede Orphanage, a home for destitute children at Panir, near Derala Katte, Mangalore.
