Mangalore: Act of Vengeance; Attempt to murder goes in vain

Mangalore, 24 Sep 2014: Two motorcycle-borne miscreants whose attempt to murder a man at Vamanjoor check post on Mangalore – Moodbidri state highway 13, near here has gone in vain.

 

The victim has been identified as BJP active member Santosh Kottari.

 

One of the attackers has been identified as twenty-year-old Pawan, son of notorious goon Vamanjoor Rohi who was slain in 2009 and another attacker has been identified as Arif.

 

 

Sources informed that Pawan wanted to kill Santosh because the latter was involved in slain case of his father Vamanjoor Rohi.  Santosh is the brother of BJP youth wing leader Rajesh Kottari.

 

Pawan and his accomplice Arif attacked Santosh with lethal weapons, whilst he was on his way to a nearby eatery to order take home lunch.

 

Santosh was at once rushed to the hospital where is said to be out of danger.

 

Mangalore rural police registered a case in this regard and investigations are underway.
