Moodubelle: Pavithra Self-help Group inaugurated

Moodubelle, 03 November 2010: A new self-help (Swa-sahaya) group under the name of Pvithra was inaugurated recently in Moodubelle. Mrs. Wilma Rodrigues was elected as the President, Mrs. Juliet Saldanha as Secretary and Mrs. Joyce Meena Mendonca as Treasuere of the Pavithra Self-help Group.
Mrs. Letitia Saldanha inaugurated the Self-help Group and named it as ‘Pavithra’. President of the Jyothi Mahila Mandala of Edmeru, Mrs. Helen D’Souza speaking at this occasion appreciated the work of the self-help group in the field of savings and giving loans to the needy members. She also wished that the Pavithra Self-help Group would start self employment projects and enable the women to achieve economic progress.
Mrs. Geetha Shetty compeered the programme, Mrs. Wilma Rodrigues welcomed the guests and members and Mrs. Juliet Saldanha proposed the vote of thanks.
