Byndoor, Sep 23, 2014: Byndoor has ancient roots. There are many ancient historical worship centers. Despite the bounty of tourism potential; it has not be given its due recognition. If Byndoor official gets a status of a taluk center, it would make justice for its rich ancient heritage, said renowned Kannada litterateur and eightieth All India Kannada Sahitya Sammelan chairman Na D’Souza.
Na D’Souza was speaking after releasing Byndoor Directory, the first ever dictionary in the history of Byndoor as envisioned by www.kundapra.com on Sharada stage, here on Sunday September 21 evening.
One will not be able to foster the cultural hierarchy by the new generation, till we don’t master the history of one nation. The basic info about historical lineage is essential for everyone, in order to take earnest interest in sustaining native culture, said Na D’Souza. Byndoor Directory is helpful to educate the natives in this regard.
Today, it’s not difficult to gain knowledge, but we have reached a stage to borrow the knowledge from others. It has disregarded the native knowledge. The directory of local info gets its due significance. It’s also helpful to tourists, said Na D’Souza.
