* Clean sardines, add salt, vinegar and turmeric powder and keep it aside.
* Fry coriander, cumin and fenugreek seeds and grind masala to a fine paste.
* Cut green chilies lengthwise. and chop finely tomato, garlic, ginger and onion.
* Heat oil in a pan fry onion for about 5 minutes. Add ginger, garlic and green chilly pieces and fry for sometimes. Add tomato and fry for 10 minutes. Now add masala to it and fry. When this masala starts boiling add sardines and salt and keep it on a low flame for 15 minutes.
* Serve hot with dosa.
Note: If gravy is thick then it gives a good taste.
