| The Tendulkar age comes to an end. What a fairy tale career has this great man enjoyed. A person I greatly admire more so than being a great cricketer for India. I truly believe Sachin R. Tendulkar started the revolution in Indian Cricket when all of India and the world saw him take on and win battles single handedly against some of the legendary fast bowlers and spinners of his time. After listening to his adieu speech I realized why God was so generous to him that he gave him a free reign in scripting his own destiny. Humility personified and a lesson every human being irrespective of his job specialty should emulate. What touched me most was that among all the adulations and victory lap by his team mates he went back to the pitch and when he touched the pitch with respect in the end, he was unable to control his emotion and while returning back there were tears in his eyes. That shows how badly he wants and loves to play cricket for India. At that time he realized that he won t be playing cricket any more. His love to cricket is unparallel. The nation weeps at the farewell of the master! Thank you Sachin will miss you and remember you always! Salute the legend. | |
