Dubai: Jetesh and Ajay - Young Cricketers from Moodubelle to Tour Sri Lanka

Dubai, 24 July 2011: It is indeed a matter of great pride to Belleans as the budding cricketers  Jetesh Aranha and Ajay Fernandes representing EIDS Cricket Club will be proceeding Sri Lanka on a 10 Day-long cricket tour in the first half of September 2011.

 

Both Jetesh and Ajay have been  active cricketers in the local Cricket Leagues in Dubai and have been participating in  various cricket tournaments organized by Sharjah and Ajman Cricket Councils.

 

Jethesh Aranha

 

Jethesh Aranha is the eldest son of  the co-founder of Bellevision-Edward Aranha and Leena Aranha. He is working for a Multinational company dealing with Power Generators Rental as Project Management Engineer-Aggreko UK Limited, Jebel Ali. Fondly called by friends and relatives as “Jithu”, he will be captaining the EIDS Cricket club that will be undertaking the tour of Sri Lanka. He is right handed opening batsman and medium pace bowler.

 

Ajay Fernandes

 

Ajay Fernandes is the second  son among four children of Charles Fernandes and Rita Fernandes. He is working for Damas Jewellery LLC, Dubai as Accounts Executive. He is right middle order batsman and right hand fast bowler. He is married to Lolete Jennifer.

 

EIDS cricket club is scheduled to play 6 matches (4 - 20/20games and 2 - 40 overs/side Game) from 10 to 17 September 2011.

13 September 2011  Match 3 – 40 Over/Side game St.Anthony`s ground – Katugastota (Kandy)

16 September 2011  Match 5 – T20 game Seenigama ground – Hikkaduwa
17 September 2011  Match6 – T20 game Seenigama ground – Hikkaduwa
