Remo steals show
Though Remo Fernandez was invited as a guest, he sang three songs to a thunderous applause from the cheering crowd. When he imitated the modern girls, youngsters and old goans through a popular song “Undra Moja Mama,” the audience burst into a laughter while the crowd were thrilled to listen to his foot-tapping number “Maria Pitashe.”
He also sang a song from a new movie “O Maria.” “Unfortunately, the song “Maka Naka, Tuka Naka” has been cut from the movie, though it is there in promos,” he said. Earlier, in his short speech, he said that Konkani is being raped by politicians. He also added that he was overwhelmed to see the response for Konkani programme in Mangalore.
