Lanchulal elected unopposed as new CATCA president

Mangaluru: Young producer and actor Lanchulal KS has been elected as the new president of the Coastal Wood Artists and Technicians Cooperative Union (R).

 

At the annual general meeting of the Coastalwood Artists and Technicians Cooperative Union held at Devanga Bhavan in Urvstore Ashoknagar, Lanchu Lal KS was elected as the president, Sandeep Shetty Surathkal and lead actor Anoop Sagar as the vice-presidents.

 

Sudhakar Shetty Bedra was elected as the General Secretary, Anil Karkera as the Treasurer, Vinayak Jappu as the Joint Secretary, and Yatish Poojary Taranath Urva was elected as the Cultural Secretary.

Mohammed Asgar and Ajit Shetty Kavur were elected as the organizing committee members, while Charan Raj, Ranjan Bolur, Vijay Panjimoger, Sukesh Shetty Padupadavu, Sachchandra Shetty Udupi, and Manjunath Cherkadi were elected as the executive committee members.

 

Prakash Shetty Dharmanagar has been elected as the Chairman of the Committee of the prestigious API of Coastal Wood.

 

On this occasion, the new president Lanchulal, in his speech, promised to formulate many projects for the development of the Tulu film industry and the artists in the next 2 years and raise the name of the organization to greater heights. In the annual general meeting, the founding president of the union, Ashwini Kotian, former presidents Mohan Koppala Kadri, Pammi Kodial Bail, Mohammed Asghar and Anoop Sagar were present.
