Soft Skills Programme organized at Milagres College, Kallianpur

Udupi, 23 Apr 2024: Soft Skills Programme was organized for the Final Year students at the Milagres College, Kallianpur Udupi on 22 April 2024.

 

’Having a successful career depends on the communication and articulation skills an individual should have….’ said Dr Jayaram Shettigar, the IQAC coordinator of the College. He was speaking on the inaugural ceremony of a four day long soft Skills Training Program organised for the final year students of the College. ‘Success in the present day society is always depends on the skill we learn to read where it is not written’ he added.

 

Mr Chandan Rao, a freelance soft skill trainer would be the resource person for all four days.

 

 

This program is an initiative by the IQAC, placement cell and career Guidance unit of the college.

 

Prof. Sophia Dias, the Vice Principal, Mrs Radhika Patkar, Mr Karthik Nayak, Dept of Commerce, PRO Mr Ravinandan Bhat and NSS Officer Mr Ganesh Nayak were present.

 

Soft skills are character traits and interpersonal skills that shape relationship with other people around us and in society and complement hard skills at workplace as well.
