Udupi/M’Belle, 12 Sep: The Nisarga Stree Sanghattan along with Commission for Women of Moodubelle Parish organized a seminar on the ‘Role of Mothers towards the Youth’ on Sunday, 11 September 2022 at 4 pm in the Parish Hall. Mrs. Pratibha Kamath and Mrs. Pratibha Lydia Brags were the resource persons.
Mrs. Pratibah Kamath has been serving for 11 years as Assistant Professor in the Manipal College of Nursing and presently she is in the final year of her Ph.D. research. She spoke on the growth, changes and care to be taken of the teenage children.
Mrs. Ratibha Lydia Brags has served earlier at the Principal of the Dhanvantari College of Nursing at Udupi and is presently she is working as a junior fellow with Dr. Maria Pais of the MAHE University and is doing her Ph.D. research. She gave a lecture on the role of mothers towards their young children. She said that the children are the reflections of their parents and pointed out as to how hey should behave with their elders and neighbours.
Mrs. Reena D’Souza welcomed the gathering; Mrs. Gladys Rebello introduced the speakers; Mrs. Sobina Martis proposed the vote of thanks.
