Bantwal, 22 Aug 2022: Sri Krishnastami celebrations were held with pomp and gaiety at Ram Mandir, Kalladka, here on Friday August 19. It was the ninetieth year the celebrations were held by Sri Ramanjaneya Trust.
The colorful procession of Sri Krishna was held from Ram Mandir passing through Kalladka town, K C Road and concluded at the Mandir.
The tableaus of puppetry group, Trishul Friends – Kalladka, Om Shakti Friends – Kalladka and others were the highlights of the show.
The children of Sri Rama Primary School and Nursery donned the role of Muddu Krishna.
The youths were busy climbing the pole and exhibiting adventure in breaking the pots.
The Trust chairman K Prabhakar Bhat Kalladka, Bantwal MLA Rajesh Naik Ulipadyguttu, former MLAs M Rukmaya Poojary and K Padmanabha Kottary, R Chennappa Kotian, Sulochana G K Bhat, Krishnappa, Sujit Kottary, Nagesh Kalladka, B Narayan Somayaji, Vasant Madhav, Yatin Kumar, Pushparaj Shettigar, Uttam Kumar Palanir, Harish Acharya, Dinesh Amtoor, Bondala Janardhan Kulal, Chittaranjan Hosakatta, Monappa Devasya, Vajranat Kalladka and others were present.
The law enforcement agencies provided tight security along the procession and at the Mandir.
