Mangaluru: Congress Seva Dal remembers founder Dr Hardikar by Vanamahotsav in city

Mangaluru, 11 Jul 2022: Dakshina Kannada district and Mangaluru town Congress Seva Dal observed Vanamahotsav at Nehru Park, here on Sunday July 10.

 

Mangaluru south MLA J R Lobo and Seva Dal office bearers garlanded the flowers to freedom fighter Dr Hardikar, the founder of Seva Dal.

 

Addressing the gathering, Lobo said, Dr Hardikar founded Sev Dal to inculcate discipline among the youth who are expected to carry forward his legacy in the country.

 

 

Karnataka MLC Harish Kumar announced Rs 1 lac for the development of Nehru Park, the venue itself.

 

The former MLC Ivan D’Souza urged the Seva Dal to float membership drive while District Congress sponsors Seva Dal camps.
