Mangaluru, 24 Dec 2021: Tulu movie, Yeregavuye Kirikiri, produced under the banner Veigas Films, directed by Ram Shetty, premiered at Big Cinemas, here on Friday, December 24.
Speaking on the occasion, restaurateur and Tulu movie producer Prakash Pandeshwar said that Tulu movies that have limited viewers are facing dearth of theaters. He urged the movie theaters in multiplexes to allow them to screen Tulu movies, said Prakash.
The entrepreneur Jayaram Shekha said that Tulu movies are premiering one after the other that is not in the interest of producers and also the viewers. Therefore, there should be a gap of at least 3 weeks from each release, he advised.
The movie director Ram Shetty said that Yeregavuye Kirikiri, Tulu movie has a social message with comedy that includes the pulse of a viewer. He urged the viewers to view the movie with families in order to encourage Tulu movies.
The movie producer Roshan Veigas said that the movie has been produced at the challenging times of Covid-19 Pandemic. He appealed to the viewers to support the endeavor.
Tamma Laxman, Sarojini Shetty, lead casts Aishwarya Hegde and Mohammed Naim, Sai Krishna, Sandeep Shetty Manibettu, Jagannat Shetty Bala, movie distributor Balakrishna Shetty Puttur and others were present.
The movie is premiered at Roopavani, Big Cinemas, PVR, Cinepolis and Nataraj at Suratkal in Mangaluru city, Kalpana theater at Udupi, Bharat Cinemas and Inox at Manipal, Radhika at Karkala, Planet at Beltangady, Bharat at Sullia, Santosh at Moodbidri, Amarashree at Moodbidri.
The movie has a social message of suffering owing to others’ faults and rectifying it to lead a just life all that is depicted with comedy.
