Mangaluru: Women’s Forum of Bunts Sangh, Suratkal celebrates Deepavali

Mangaluru, 08 Nov 2021: The women’s forum of Bunts Sangh, Suratkal celebrated Deepavali, the festival of light at Bunts Bhavan, here on Saturday, November 6.

 

The women’s forum past president Baby N Shetty inaugurated the celebrations.

 

The forum president Chitra J Shetty presided the programme and conveyed best wishes to the gathering.

 

 

The forum vice president Bhavya A Shetty said that the light brightens knowledge, shuns ignorance and evils.

 

The joint secretary Rajeshwari D Shetty expressed concern over Deepavali celebration losing its sheen amongst the people.

 

The general secretary Saroja T Shetty welcomed the gathering.

 

The treasurer Shaila Shetty, organizing secretary Bharati G Shettym cultural secretary Kesari S Punja and others were present.
