Bantwal, 28 Mar 2018: The Madrasa teachers set an example by clearing the mound of garbage that was dumped besides Mangaluru – Bengaluru NH 75 at Farangipet, here, on Tuesday, March 27.
The cleanliness campaign was organized by Talent Research Foundation in collaboration with Jamiatul Muslimeen, Adyar – Kannur, where the religious teachers displayed the concern for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in public spaces.
The motorists and others who are least concerned of cleanliness were dumping their garbage besides the highway that has accumulated over months polluting the environment and posing health hazards. The religious teachers enthusiastically collected the garbage and dumped in the trucks that took it to garbage dumps run by civic body.
Jamiatul Muslimeen, Adyar – Kannur presient Abdul Rashid Hanif, general secretary Usman Faizi Maripalla, Exam Board chairman Sharif Darimi, vice president Jaleel Darimi, Samsuddin Yamani, members Ashraf Azhari Borgudde, Sadiq Hanif Kumbra, Taslim Arshad, Abdulla Darimi Malli and others partaken in the cleanliness campaign.
