Bantwal, 23 Aug 2017: Karnataka government led by CM Siddaramaiah and DK district-in-charge minister Ramanath Rai are playing dirty politics by discontinuing aid to Sri Rama Vidya Kendra, Kalladka, near here, jeopardizing the studies of thousands of students. The people will leach a lesson in the coming days for this misdemeanor, said the former state minister Janardhan Reddy.
Addressing the media persons during his visit to Sri Rama Vidya Kendra, Kalladka, near here, on Tuesday, August 22, Reddy said, ‘Sri Rama Vidya Kendra imparts studies in Kannada medium, instills patriotism, cultural hierarchy among the students. The funds that are provided by Kollur temple towards mid-day meals to the students that was discontinued is condemnable, said Reddy.
Reddy and his fellow entrepreneurs donated Rs 26 lac towards Bhikshandehi Abhiyan of Sri Rama Vidya Kendra.
Reddy fellow entrepreneurs Sadanand, Pramod Shetty, Lallesh Reddy, Sandesh and others was present.
Sri Rama Vidya Kendra correspondent Prabhakar Bhat welcomed the gathering.
