Mangaluru, 27 Jun 2017: We all are children of God, while clashes in the name of religions among people of different communities don’t make sense, said MLA J R Lobo.
MLA Lobo was speaking after distributing funds to the beneficiaries under National Family Rehabilitation Fund, during the function held at Sankappa Memorial Hall, Jeppu, here, on Sunday, June 25.
The society grows with peace and harmonious living, that provides conducive environment for further growth, added MLA Lobo.
The rich does not get affected by communal clashes, while the poor and daily wagers suffer the most for lost day’s wages, said MLA Lobo.
He distributed cheques of Rs 20,000 each to 75 beneficiaries of Jappinamogaru, Attavar, Bajal and Mangaluru Dota village, on the same occasion.
The corporators Appy, Shailaja, Kavita Vasu, Ratikala and Surendra, Ashraya Committee member Nawaz, MESCOM advisory Committee member Sadashiv Amin, KSRTC director T K Sudhir, R I Joy and others were present.
