Karkala, 14 Mar 2017: The second round of Gram Sabha of Nandlike gram panchayat, near here was held at Government Higher Primary School, Nandalike, here on Monday, March 13.
The government officials of different departments who were supposed to be present to address the grievances of villagers were absent.
Nandalike village accountant Anand, women and child welfare department designated in-charge Soubhagya wee present at the dais. Both of them offered info to the queries of the villagers.
Speaking on the occasion, ZP member Reshma Uday Shetty said that it’s the duty of department officials to attend Gram Sabha to address the grievances of villagers. She expressed her deep concern in this regard.
Nandalike gram panchayat president Jayanti presided the meeting.
TP member Pushpa Satish Poojary, Nandalike gram panchayat vice president Sudhakar Salian, nodal officer Manju Devadiga, Karkala councilor Amarnat Hegde, Nandalike – Government Higher Primary School head teacher Emilda, Nandalike gram panchayat members Usha, Girish Shetty, Praveen and Joyce Tellis, others were present.
The allotment letters of state facilities were distributed to the beneficiaries on the same occasion.
