Udupi, 23 Jan 2017: PM Narendra Modi is capable leader that the nation seen after one thousand years. He has taken a bold move in order cleanse the national financial system by demonetization of high value currency notes in the country, said Yuva Brigade – Karnataka convener Nityanand Vivek Vamshi.
Vamshi was delivering keynote address during inaugural of NaMo Parivartan Parivar unit at Surya Chaitanya Global Academy School auditorium, Kutyar, near here, on Sunday, January 22.
The demonetization was undertaken to curb fake note menace, to maintain transparency in elections, to contain tax evasion, stem anti-national activities and to bolster national image overseas. Its gains are visible to common-folks after a few months of hardship. The stern actions on gold and properties in the coming months will further change the course of nation, added Vamshi.
Cashless India, mobile banking will shrink the corruption and bribery in the country. The people need to be sensitized in this regard. The recent developments in India are being closely viewed by nations worldwide. India is emerging most favored nation because its poised for fast growth, said Vamshi.
The veteran intellectual B Pundalika Marate in his preliminary address highlighted the positive changes that are swapping the nation in the recent past.
Professor Meghachandra of Modi Research Centre, Shivamogga presided the programme.
