Razak was speaking after inaugurating Children’s Day celebrations at Anganawady Centre at Ira, near here recently. It was organized by Bala Vikasa Samiti, Talipadpu, Ira.
He urged the gathering to mix with the children at Anganawady to understand their emotions.
Ira village accountant A P Bhat and Ira gram panchayat member Moideen Kunhi were felicitated in securing RTC for Anganawady and providing basic amenities respectively on the same occasion.
Ira gram panchayat member M B Ummer, Gopal Ashwattady, Parvati PDO Prakash S, women and child welfare department staff Gunavati, gram panchayat former member Ibrahim Moole, social activist Moideen Kunhi, Yousuf Moole, members of Stree Shakti self-help-groups were present.
Hyder Ashrafi compered the programme. Anganawady assistant Rekha proposed vote of thanks.
The prizes were distributed to the winners of various competitions.
