Udupi, 24 Oct 2016: Rajapura Saraswat Brahmin (RSB) Sangh is a role model for leading the community successfully. The association grows without hitches by trusting in God for the prosperity of the community. The community building is the powerhouse of all activities. RSB Bhavan in Manipal, near here is the powerhouse and symbol of dignity and strength, said Karnataka state minister for youth services, sports and fisheries/ Udupi district-in-charge minister Pramod Madhwaraj.
The minister Pramod was speaking during the felicitation of RSB community’s distinguished personalities, distribution of scholarship, held at RSB auditorium, Manipal, here on Sunday, October 23.
He felicitated Yerlapady Narayana Gavalkar (literature), Bantakal Heroor Datatraya Patkar (progressive dairy farmer), Srikant Nayak Gurnebettu (Patanjali yogo Guru), Bantakal Ramachandra Nayak (business), Professor Poornalata G (doctorate).
RSB Sangh president Upendra Nayak, community building Committee president M Gokuldas Nayak was present.
Gujarat-based entrepreneur Sundar S Nayak released Valmiki Ramayana, Konkani book authored by Narayan Gavalkar and published by Karnataka Konkani Sahitya Academy.
N Narasimha Nayak Muskat, Sundar S Nayak Pardi, Gujarat, Karnataka Bank general manager Upendra Prabhu, Shantaram Salvankar, Ramakrishna Nayak, Srisha Nayak, Narasimha Nayak Manipal were present at the dais.
