Udupi, 08 Feb 2016: The personality does not lies in appearance. It’s identified in an individual when his/her creative energy comes into fore. The positive energy is beneficial to the society. The good emotions, selflessness and jest for living improve self confidence that shines ones personality. An individual with destructive thoughts will not prosper in life. The health mind takes one to greater heights, said B Pundalika Marate, Rotary district former assistant governor.
Marate was delivering lecture on Personality development and social service that was organized for rovers and rangers, NSS students of St Mary’s College, Shirva, near here on Saturday February 6.
One who takes setbacks as challenges will become successful. The suicide is a cowardly act that will not solve the problem. There are hundreds of examples wherein the individuals made significant achievement by human virtues. The youth got to focus their energies to leave behind their permanent mark on earth, said Marate.
St Mary’s College principal Professor Rajan V N presided the programme.
Rovers Scout leader Professor Prakash, Rangers leader Professor Sushmita, NSS officer Professor Ajit D’Mello and Tanmaya Shetty were present at the dais.
