Worshiping Goddess Durge during Navaratri leads to spiritual bliss – Swami Shivanand

Udupi, 23 Oct 2015: The worshiping of Goddess Durge during nine-days of Navarati, strengthens the will of individual to overcome the challenges of life and to conquer them, said Swami Shivanand Saraswati of Kaivalya mutt.

 

Swami Shivanand was delivering religious discourse during Navaratri celebrations at Sri Durgaparameshwari temple, Bantakal, near here on Thursday October 22.

 

 

The long serving temple priest K Vedavyasaraya Bhat was felicitated on the same occasion.

 

The temple governing council chairman Sooda Jayaram Prabhu, deputy chairman Umesh Prabhu Palame, RSB Sangh president B Upendra Nayak, trustees Manjunat Nayak Kukkikatte, Sundar Nayak Parkala, Surendra Nayak Belanjale, Narasinge temple managing trustee Ramesh Salvankar, temple priests Mahesh Bhat, Sudhindra Bhat and Ranjit Bhat and Ganatri Ganapati Nayak were present.

 

Umesh Nayak introduced the dignitaries. Narasimha Nayak Manipal compered the programme.
