Padubidri – Karkal Highway death knell
The road has been widened recently and automobile drivers are inclined to drive faster because of the smooth road, owing to which many accidents have taken place. None of such cases were reported because it has been amicably settled by both the parties without FIR. The lack of dividers has become a freeway for marauding drivers cruising at high speeds with scant regard for fellow motorists.
