Youth stabbed to death near Taluk Office

Mangaluru, 03 Jun 2015: A youth, said to be a pickpocket was reportedly murdered in broad daylight near Taluk Office here on Wednesday, Jun 3.

 

The deceased is Ranjith (27), a resident of Ullal.

 

It is said Ranjith was involved in ganja peddling too. He was seen lying in a pool of blood struggling for life in the Taluk Panchayat premises. Though locals admitted him to Wenlock Hospital, he could not be rescued.

 

Fingerprint experts were pressed into action. Mangaluru Police Commissioner S Murugan visited the spot. A case has been registered in Pandeshwar police station.
