Udupi, 16 Apr 2015: Vishwasadamane, home for destitute located at Shankarapura, near here united twenty-year-old destitute from Uttar Pradesh, who was found wondering in Harady locality, near here on January 10, 2015 after restoring his mental health with the help of psychiatrist Dr Rohan, with his family here on Wednesday April 15.
The patrol police of Brahmavar station brought twenty-year-old Preetam who was stinking without bath and worn with shabby clothes, unkept hair to Vishwasadamane on January 10. He was given bath and cared by the assistants at Vishwasadamane and had undergone psychiatric treatment that restored his well being.
He gave the telephone number of his father Bhagawandas living in Jhansi, Uttar Pradesh, to the assistants of Vishwasadamane.
Meanwhile, when the chief functionary Pastor John Sunil D’Souza telephoned Bhagawandas and briefed about their lost son who is healthy at the Vishwasadamane, Bhagawandas and his eldest son twenty-four-year-old Yashodadas arrived at Vishwasadamane, here on Wednesday April 15 at 8.00am.
The fifty-year-old Bhagawandas is working as clerk in Central Railway. He has 3 children, first is twenty-six-year-old Pinky who is married with four-year-old child. Preetam is second son who was working at railway coach building factory, after his SSC. Preetam who was discharged from a private hospital run by Dr Ramesh at Jhansi, Uttar Pradesh gone missing since 5 months. He lodged missing case with Jhansi police and given up hope of finding Preetam after several months.
Bhagawandas shed joyous tears when he was reunited with his son Preetam. He thanked the authorities of Vishwasadamane and left to their native town along with Preetam and his brother Yashodadas.
