Let the education institutions become the centers of knowledge and human resources, under national education programme, said Punjab and Haryana retired Chief Justice, Bihar and Jarkhand former Governor and former Rajya Sabha member Dr Rama Jois.
Dr Jois was speaking during Graduation Day ceremony of first batch students of Sri Madwa Vadiraj Institute of Technology and Management, Bantakal, near here on Saturday November 1.
Dr Jois lauded the educational endeavors including religious and social concern of Sode Vadiraj Mutt Education Trust that established Sri Madwa Vadiraj Institute of Technology and Management.
Swami Vishwavallaba in his presidential address called on the students to guard the reputation of their institute in their professional life.
Sode Vadiraj Mutt Education Trust vice president Padigar Srinivas Tantri, governing council, principal Dr Radhakrishna S Ithal, dean Dr A Ganesh and heads of different departments were present at the dais.
The gold medals that were sponsored by S L Shet Jewellers, Mangalore was presented to topers of first back of all departments.
