Sand Sculpture on Evils of Smoking on Anti-Tobacco Day

Udupi, 31 May 2014: Dr Vidhyasagar unveiled the sand sculpture on anti-Tobacco Day at Manipal, here on Saturday May 31.

 
KMC community medicine division artist Srinat Manipal, other artistes Venki Palimar and Ravi sculptured the sand sculpture to convey the message of evils of smoking.

 

 
The community medicine division Dr Avinash, Dr Chaitra, Dr Divakar and Ashok were present on the occasion.

 
The sculpture depicts the evils of smoking with dreaded diseases such as cancer, TB and other related ailments.

 
The hand bills on evils of smoking were distributed to the general public.
