Mangalore, Feb 04, 2014 : The office bearers of Dakshina Kannada (DK) district Karnataka Janata Party (KJP) who believae in secularity and the core activists are let down by KJP founder president – the former CM B S Yeddyurappa who unilaterally merged KJP with BJP without taking the grass-root level party activists into confidence, alleged Bantwal KJP former legislative assembly candidate and president Ibrahim Kailar.
Addressing media persons at the conference held at Hotel Woodlands, here on Monday February 3 at 4.00pm, Ibrahim further said that a few top office bearers of DK district KJP also followed the suit with Yeddyurappa who deserted KJP and joined BJP. The few KJP men who joined BJP are spreading rumor that all will join BJP. It’s not true, because all those who have secular principles have not joined BJP, and there future course of action will be announced shortly, said Ibrahim.
KJP DK district minority unit president Hameed Kudroli said that majority of Muslim brethrens joined KJP who were convinced of secular governance during the reign of the former CM B S Yeddyurappa; but uncertainty looms over their political career. In order to augment on this, they will soon decide their next course of action, said Hameed.
DK district general secretary Ilyas Nandavara, Mohammed Ali and Bantwal KJP former legislative assembly candidate and president Ibrahim Kailar were present at the occasion.
