Confraternity Sunday Observed in St. Antony’s Church

Udupi, Jan 21, 2014 : In preparation for the annual parish feast, Confraternity Sunday was observed with mass, adoration and procession of the Holy Eucharist in St. Antony’s Church, Kuntalnagar on Sunday, 19 January 2014.

 
At 4 pm, the holy mass was offered by Rev. Fr. Richard Coelho, Administrator of Fr. Muller’s Hospital, Mangalore. In his homily, Rev. Fr. Richard Coelho emphasized on  the need to build a strong parish family in order to overcome the difficulties faced in modern times.

 

 

 
Following the end of the mass, brief adoration of the Blessed Sacrament was organized followed by the solemn Eucharistic Procession from the church to the main road and back to the church. This was followed by the solemn Sacramental Blessing.

 
The Vespers on the eve of the annual feast will be observed on Tuesday, January 21, 2014 at 7 pm. The annual feast mass will be offered at10.30 am on Wednesday, 22 January 2014.
