Udupi: Nakwa Yahya appointed as new Prez of District Wakf

Udupi, 9 Jan 2014: The state wakf Board appointed Nakwa Yahya Malpe as the new president of Udupi district wakf advisory Committee through a circular issued on Tuesday January 7.

Yahya has been actively involved in religious and social welfare activities since the past many years.

The young entrepreneur Yahya is involved in several social welfare and voluntary organizations.

He is the taluk president of Muslim Federation, chairman of Flowers of Paradise School, Malpe, member of governing council of Abubakker Siddiq mosque – Malpe, member of Al Ameen Educational Society – Bangalore, member of Central Muslim Association and its Udupi district representative, member of governing council of Kalmat mosque – Kodavoor, member of Jaamiyat-ul-Falah.
