Chandrashekhar Kanchan appointed as the Director of Udupi District BJP Fisher-folk Forum

Chandrashekhar Kanchan, the former member of Katapadi Grama Panchayat has been appointed as the Director of the Udupi District BJP Fisher-folk Forum by the Udupi District BJP President, Udaykumar Shetty. He has been the Chief Secretary of Katapadi local BJP Committee. Presently, Chandrashekhar Kanchan is the General Secretary of Pithrodi Hadinalku Patna Mogavira Mahajana Sangha. He is also the President of Katapadi Yenagudde Mogavira Mahasabha.

 

 “Create conducive atmosphere for the growth of children”-Prof. Rajendra Nayak

While speaking at the free distribution of note-books to the needy children as the chief guest at Kota Government Higher Primary School, Principal of Government degree College, Manooru, Prof. Rajendra Nayak made an appeal to the parents and teachers that they should create conducive atmosphere for the growth and success of the students from their childhood itself. The free note-books distribution programme was presided over by the President of Kota-Handattu Gramavikasa Prathistan’s president, Justice Manjunath S.K. Saligrama. Yashpal Suvarna, the President of Dakshina Kannada and Udupi District Fish Sellers’ Federation was the chief guest. On behalf of the Prathistan nearly 200 needy students were given free note-books.

 

Physically Challenged Madhav Salian (45) gets wheel-chair

Forty five years old Madhav Salian, a resident of Moodabettu village who has been suffering from severe physical handicap since birth was provided with a wheel chair on Wednesday, 23rd June 2010. The wheel chair was donated by Lakshminarayana Mattu in memory of his mother, late Jayalakshmi Amma. During this occasion Udupi Balaji Raghavendra Acharya, the former President of the Kote Grama Panchayat, Dayananda V. Bangera, philanthropist-Lakshminarayana Mattu, Dayananda Thingalaya, Girija Salian and Jagadish Salian were present.
