Kundapur, 18 Dec 2013 : A brother of a woman whose husband arrived home fully drunk and began to assault her with suspicions over infidelity was slain by her brother being reported from Yelaberu, near Kamalashile, here on Monday December 16 night.
The accused a certain Vishwanat was on run traced by Shankaranarayana police on Tuesday December 17.
The deceased has been identified as thirty-six-year-old Chandra Achary who was suspicious of infidelity of his twenty-seven-year-old wife Jyoti tried to assault when he arrived home fully drunk on Monday night. Jyoti’s brother Vishwanat tried to restrain his brother-in-law Chandra from assaulting her. Meanwhile, as the verbal abuse reached a point of no return, Vishwanat hit on behind the head of Chandra with a machete; when Chandra collapsed on the ground and died instantly.
Vishwanat fled the scene soon afterwards but was nabbed by the police on Tuesday morning.
Nineteen-year-old Vishwanat was working in a garage at Shankaranarayana, near here who is imprisoned for killing his brother-in-law.
Jyoti has two children, seven-year-old Nandish and five-year-old Preeti.
