Shirva: Free Medical Checkup Camp for Children held

Udupi/Shirva, 21 Nov 2013 : A free medical checkup and treatment camp for children was conducted at Apoorva Clinic in Shirva, Udupi on 20 November 2013. The camp was organized by Dr. Ravishankar Kulamarva who is presently working as Assistant Professor and Consultant of Ayurveda Pediatrician in SDM College of Ayurveda and Hospital Udyavara, Udupi and with the collaboration of Vasu Health care Pvt Ltd.

 

 

The Guest,  Wilson D’Souza, Phoenix Arcade Shirva, inaugurated the medical camp by lightning the lamp. Keshava Bhat Kulamarva, Mrs.Anupama Ravishankar, Senior Field Officer of Vasu Health Care Pvt Ltd.,  Prakash and Vijay were also present on the occasion.

 

 

The disorders of respiratory system like cold, cough, coryza, asthma and growth and developmental disorders like poor weight gain, delay milestones, speech problems,  etc. were examined and free medication was prescribed. The importance of diet, nutrition, immunity and Pranayama in prevention of disorders was discussed. More than 100 children attended the medical camp.
